On September 15th 2015 Sunset City Police and emergency services rolled up on what they thought was a “medical” call, but in fact, turned out to be a homicide.
As Leslie describes it, her daughter’s dad was murdered by her son’s dad. Now her kids have lost everything and she has lost two of the most important people in her life. One of them dead and the other in jail for the murder.
As a family they feel broken. It has been a hard struggle trying to find a happy balance. They lost their apartment because it was where the homicide took place. Leslie really wants her kids to just be able to be kids and not have to worry about these adult things.
Good Deed Revolution wanted to help Leslie and her family out. Brandy Vega showed up at Leslie’s empty apartment with some warm winter clothing. Then they went grocery shopping for some badly needed supplies.
“You know what, honestly, this is probably the happiest I’ve been in three months…”
Leslie was appreciative for the help Good Deed Revolution provided. She said, “You know what, honestly, this is probably the happiest I’ve been in three months.”
Leslie and her family have a long road ahead of them learning to live without the fathers they lost. If you would like to help Leslie’s family or other family in difficult situations, you can donate here at Good Deed Revolution or contact us for other ways you can help.
