Donated Laptop Connects Disabled Vet to Family Funeral

Greg Andre is hurting. His niece just passed away and due to his health and financial situation he will not be able to travel to attend the funeral. He can’t even afford to send flowers. Good Deed Revolution heard about his situation and teamed up with Mac Warehouse, in Sandy, to do something about it.

The Mac Warehouse generously stepped up and donated a laptop with webcam capabilities to the Vietnam veteran so he could at least watch the funeral service from home. When Brandy asked McKay, of Mac Warehouse, why they would do something like this he said,

You know, really here at Mac Warehouse we care about our community and so we want to give back to the community in any way we can. Especially in those opportunities we have to be able to support our veterans.

Brandy and McKay surprised Greg with the laptop delivering it to him just a day before the funeral. Both were honored and humbled to able to help Greg, and Greg was grateful for the gift,

If it weren’t for you guys I would not be watching the funeral tomorrow. And for that I owe you more than I could ever repay…the only thing I can say is I will pass on the act of kindness in some other way shape or form.
